Prayer of Letting Go is noticing something you are holding on to — something that is preventing God from having room to help you in unexpected ways in that area of your life – and then letting go of control in order to make room for grace, love, gift.

Listening Prayer is noticing people, situations, and experiences you want to pray about and then listening for God to speak to you about these matters through His Holy Spirit.

Lectio Divina (Lek’-tee-oh Duh-vee’-nuh), Latin for “divine reading,” is an ancient contemplative practice. It involves reading a Scripture passage slowly, noticing if any word or phrase seems to stand out to you, and then contemplating how the Holy Spirit may be working in your heart and/or inviting you to take action based on that phrase.

Celebration Prayer is praising God through a commemorative activity to celebrate God for who He is or what He has done.

Acronym Prayers use the letters of a word, such as P.R.A.Y. , A.C.T.S. , or P.A.R.T., to guide us through a focused and balanced prayer time of praise, confession, and asking.

O.I.A . Bible Study (Observe, Interpret, Apply) is a method of applying the message of the ancient but living Scriptures appropriately to our lives today.

Sharing Personal Prayer Requests is telling your concerns, struggles, and hopes to a prayer partner or a group and allowing them to pray for you as God leads their hearts and minds.

Work as Worship is activity, labor, service, or the like done deliberately and prayerfully out of love for God.

Obedience Planning Prayer is prayerful self-observation and planning for following a Scriptural principle in your life.

Examen  (pronounced “examine”) is looking back over a time period and observing when and where  you noticed God’s presence and movement in your life and when God was relatively absent from your awareness or seemed far away.
