Board Retreat

Led by Soul Care Minister Jade Carlson (right),  we met for spiritual refreshment, fellowship, discernment regarding DeeperHope policies, and prayer. The weekend included: a presentation by Board Chair Jess Mason on the history, status, and vision of the Institute; a time of listening to the Spirit regarding His vision for each of us as unique reflections of Christian love and glory; walks on the beach; delicious, healthy food prepared by Jade; several contemplative experiences led by Jade; and discussions about our “Ends Statements”, those policies that shape and provide boundaries for what we believe God has called the Institute to do, for whom, and at what cost.

Our current Board includes (left to right above) Catharine Tognoni, Jess Mason, Beth Barker, and Wendy Dixon. Thanks to Jade and to the Board for your dedication to the spiritual integrity of the Institute, and to our sisterhood in Christ.
